late 02:37
i've been waiting for you i've been waiting for your smile i've been waiting in your room in a sexy position for you oh, are you thinking what i'm thinking? are you wanting to try out something new? set fire to the walls send out your siren's call oh, if we've anywhere to be, we're gonna be late run across the bedroom floor a giant's castle made of fire we are sweating in another room in an awkward position, me and you oh, are you thinking what i'm thinking? are you sure we will not be too loud? this feels so dangerous this feels so strange for us oh, if we've anywhere to be, we're gonna be late take my hand and running faster we can't be here for the monster show we'll outlive them all by miles pierce the hills, build a castle of our own oh, are you thinking what i'm thinking? are you up for a night out in the woods? and when the wolves arrive, we'll take them for a drive oh, if we've anywhere to be, we're gonna be late.

i'll build a rocket for our exit to match the robot from our entrance everyone in the meeting will be so excited for you and me "how did they get to be so awesome? how did they get to see the world like that?" all of everything, veins of wondrous meaning underneath we can't help but see there's a universe just waiting to be seen so much spinning, so much gravity everyone in the world will be so excited for you and me so yeah we are just very lucky, yeah, we get to see the world like that

if you don't want to, you can just take it back if you don't need this, it's okay to let it go standing on a platform in a station in a city with my mind made up by somebody else it doesn't really matter what i think if i don't think it in the first place for fear of doing it wrong i think we're doing it wrong searching for myself, i found you peering through a hole in the dark i'm pretty sure you'd see a little better with a light turned on aching for a feeling, reaching out into the only place you've ever even found, but then it's somebody else it doesn't really matter what i think if i don't think it in the first place for fear of doing it wrong i think we're doing it wrong staring at the ceiling while the pages fall down and the pieces of the new you crumble to the ground when you really look inside, and when you go to deep to hide it, there should really be no missing pieces no one will fit any of those spaces but you standing on a platform in a station in a city with my mind made up by somebody else it doesn't really matter what i think if i don't think it in the first place for fear of doing it wrong i think we're doing it wrong

blue 03:27
if i'd have known that it was gonna be the last time, i'd have noticed every detail, i'd have memorized the way the world looked then, try to hold it in my mind i don't think about you every day, but baby, when i do oh, baby, when i do, it all becomes blue i have said and done things that will haunt me for the rest of my life it isn't easy to forgive the person i am for the person i was, to relive the moments, to drown in my choices because you deserve better you deserved so much better if i'd have known that it was all about to capsize, if i'd not taken it for granted, would i realize? you can't see where you'll be, only where you've been i don't think about you every day, but baby, when i do oh, baby, when i do, it all becomes blue.

smile 02:45
be what everybody needs, what everybody thinks you are supposed to be - cuz they know you better than you do. their solutions all will work because they know how bad you hurt, and they can see inside your head, can tell what your problems really are. give up, phone a friend, tell your friend you were wrong. how could you see it more clearly than they can? you are not really mentally ill. you're just not trying hard enough. depression's just another word for lazy motherfucker, so just change your mind and smile. if you cared just a little more, the world would open every door for you. never mind the relentless pain inside. everyone's exactly the same, why should you be any different? and your bleak hallucinations are just caused by not getting out enough. your unspeakable rage is probably just something you ate. so give up, ask around, and admit to yourself that you just choose to feel like nothing will ever get better again, that you prefer to feel totally worthless, wasting every day. so why don't you just stop complaining and smile.

standing in the back, folded in the shadows, we pray our eyes don't meet, pray that we are blind now. we were never meant to be the pages of our lives scatter like ashes. they flutter out of sight, and only then we try to catch them. we were never meant to be, and it doesn't matter now. it doesn't even matter now.
